"Good grief, you have the
biggest cavity I've ever seen!" said the dentist. "You have the biggest
cavity I've ever seen".
"Okay'" said the patient, "You don't have to repeat it!"
"I didn't," said the dentist, "That was the echo!" |

MICRODENTISTRY
What is Air Abrasion?
Air abrasion is a gentle spray of
an air and powder mix that removes tooth decay.
Does it hurt?
Almost never! The dentist can
make the procedure virtually painless by controlling the speed and the
intensity of the powder and air. In most cases, this means no drill and
no injection.
What is Microdentistry?
Microdentistry is the philosophy
and practice of finding and treating decay as early as possible, of
removing as little tooth structure as possible and of making the
smallest possible restorations.
DIAGNODENT LASER
What is
the laser used for?
The diagnodent laser is an
invaluable tool used to detect decay at the earliest stages. It has made
it possible to accurately diagnose decay more effectively than
conventional methods such as probing and x-rays. Early decay can be
easily treated using the Microdentistry philosophy. This means less
tooth structure is lost. It has revolutionised dentistry today.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
What are
digital x-rays?
Digital x-ray technology enables
us to create the very best dental x-ray image with substantially less
radiation exposure for the patient and dental personnel. (At no extra
cost to the patient).
The x-ray image can be viewed immediately on the computer monitor in the
surgery.
